Emergency Food Assistance Program
The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) provides a variety of commodity food items to families to help supplement their primary food supply. Through food distributions several times a year, a large group of volunteers from a number of entities such as churches, community centers, housing authorities, and others help to serve communities in DeKalb, Gwinnett, Rockdale, and Newton Counties.
Energy Programs
The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) provides assistance to households who are financially challenged by the high cost of winter heating bills. Eligible families receive a one-time payment that is applied to their heating bill. PCA has one of the largest and most productive programs in the State of Georgia.
