Registration and Enrollment
Head Start/Early Head Start Registration
Preschool children must be at least three years of age by September 1 or turn three years old before September 1. Early Head Start serves pregnant women, infants and toddlers birth to three.
Registration takes place at the Childcare Facility closest to the childs home address. For address and telephone numbers to your closest center please refer to the contact menu on the main page:
What You Need to Bring:

Child’s Birth Certificate, confirmation of birth

Proof of Income for the last 12 months – W-2 or 1040 forms, check stubs, or documentation of Unemployment, Public Assistance, SSI 1099, Child Support

Form 3231 (Immunization Certificate)

Medicaid Card (if eligible), Peach Care (if eligible), Private Insurance

Documentation of special needs or disability as determined by Babies Can’t Wait Early Intervention Program for infants and toddlers 0-3, or documentation of disability or special need for 3-5 year olds.

We will help refugee or immigrant families without birth certificates or Social Security cards to get substitute documentation.
